About the role
Klaro is seeking a curious, ambitious designer to design the world's best interface for numbers.
Working across the full design stack, you'll own projects from start to finish and be expected to make key decisions based on your own taste.
Your role is 95% product design, collaborating with users and the team to deliver world-class experiences. Occasionally you will assist brand and marketing work, partnering with freelancers and domain experts.

- Visual design and collateral
As an early-stage startup, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitions, talented generalist to shape our entire product and brand journey.
Beyond designing amazing experiences, you'll be key in establishing our design culture and your expertise will help build the foundations for our growing company.

If you have opinions about the stack we are totally open to changing and augmenting it. We have no strong preferences other than Figma and Linear for product work.
About you
- You have a strong portfolio showcasing love of craft, taste and attention to detail.
- You are exceptionally good at UI design. A clear standout vs your peers.
- You’re creative and self-motivated, thriving in an autonomous environment.
- You go end-to-end, from initial problem to thoughtfully designed solutions.
- You are a builder at heart, and extremely good at prototyping (read: AI-native designer).
- You know how to go fast, and when it's the right time to do so.
- You understand design principles that ensure usability, accessibility, and scalability.
- You take pride in your work, especially in the details no one may ever see.
- You're committed to continuous learning, excited by new design trends and tools.

- Informal chats with Niklas and the team to hear our pitch and understand your interests and goals.
- A skill-based interview involving a take-home design challenge.
- A two-three day paid work trial where you come in and ship with us.
